


A police officer and a Hwange Nationwide Parks ranger have been arrested after they have been caught with 28kg of unmarked uncooked ivory.
Simibio Kakomo (38) who’s employed by the Hwange Nationwide Parks as a Ranger, Sheperd Musiniwa (31) of the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) and Ernest Kabanda (44), have been arraigned earlier than the Harare Magistrates Courtroom on prices of illegal possession of unmarked uncooked ivory.
The State advised the courtroom that on the 4th of April 2022 the Police obtained data to the impact that the accused individuals have been in possession of elephant tusks and have been in search of patrons.
